Birdie
Yesterday I made a birdie on the number 7 par 3 hole at Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland. Why is this worth posting? It really isn’t, except that I sank a 10 foot putt to do it and for those who have played golf with me know I suck at putting. I probably should have just called it a day right there and walked off the course as I didn’t have a better shot than that the rest of the day. Golf is, can be, a frustrating experience (I refuse to call it a sport), but making a putt like that is what keeps me going back and believing that I can score in the 80’s one day.
